Deze Projector is uitgerust met native 4K SXRD-panelen voor een zeer realistisch, analoog en filmisch ogend beeld vol detail en biedt een 4K (Ultra HD) HDR-kijkervaring en is speciaal ontworpen om bioscoopfans levensechte beelden te laten zien. De Sony VPL-VW550ES levert contrastrijke filmische beelden tot wel 350.000:1.
Tevens is deze projector uitgerust met Reality Creation, een technologie die gebruik maakt van een uniek algoritme om pixels perfect weer te geven.
